The TMB would like to invite you to be a part of our pregame show at the homecoming football game on Friday, September 27th, 2019! Band alumni will be invited onto the field during pregame for a special rendition of “Go You, Owosso” along with the current TMB! We look forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces! If you would like to participate please fill out the Alumni Band RSVP Form below to let us know you will be there! Here are some questions you might have in advance (with answers!):
Q: Do I have to register in advance for the performance?
A: Yes- please fill out the Alumni Band RSVP Form to let us know you will be there!.
Q: Will there be a rehearsal I should attended prior to game night?
A: Yes - please plan to attend rehearsal on Thursday, September 26th from 5:15-5:30 P.M. at Owosso High School.
Q: Can I borrow an instrument to play or a baton?
A: Unfortunately, no, we cannot loan out school instruments or other equipment for this performance.
Q: How do I get music?
A: The music for "Go You Owosso" is available for alumni to download and print from our website, www.owossobands.com. Please make sure you bring it with you to rehearsal... unless you already have it memorized ;
Q: What should I wear?
A: Owosso Trojan gear to show off your Owosso pride!
Q: Will I have to pay to enter the game?
A: Yes, everyone except participating students and coaches pay an entrance fee for every game.
Q: Can I sit with the band during the game?
A: The band seats are for current band members only. BUT you are welcome to come over to the band seats and visit during the 3rd quarter.:)
Q: Can I play my instrument along with the band during the game?
A: No, we will be following band protocol during the game as well as being cautious about MHSAA rules/restrictions regarding sound.
