CURWOOD 2023 INFORMATION
What: Curwood Rehearsal
When: Wednesday 5/31, 6-7:30PM
Where: OHS Band Room
Who: ALL current HS band students, grades 9-12
Playing: Twist and Shout
Yes, it's required. Yes, it's graded. BUT more than that... this is our only chance to have everyone together before the Curwood Parade.
As always, we will rehearse as little as we need to but as much as we have to.

When: Thursday 6/1
Who: TMB current 10th-11th graders, Seniors welcome as well - will earn extra drawings for Saturday
Playing: Lil Nas-X Mashup
Wearing: TMB shirt (Camp shirt from this fall), tennis shoes or similar (NO SANDALS), plain khaki shorts (appropriate length, no spandex, no holes, no writing/prints)**

PREGAME --> Business as usual. Football and cheer seniors have already celebrated with their team.
HALFTIME
- TMB performs halftime show
- Band moves back field
- Seniors announced alphabetically. When announced, report to your spot in the the "23". FAMILY - as your student is announced, please join them in the formation on the field.
- Seniors play "Go You Owosso". Underclassmen join in playing the second time through the song.
- Seniors dismissed for pictures on the front sideline. When done with pictures you must return to the band stands. You are NOT dismissed to go home ;)
- Underclassmen band members will collapse the form and return to the band stands as usual.
Reminders:
SENIOR BAND PARENTS/FAMILY MEMBERS should report in front of the home stands front sideline after the majorette feature. Please be sure to be situated on the correct side of the field before the conclusion of the last song.
PLEASE stay close to the bleachers and away from the front sideline until the last song is complete. Please do not crowd the front sideline during the halftime performance. This is an effort to minimize distraction from the performance and keep everyone (families and performers) safe.
PLEASE talk with your student about which side of the field they will be on in the "23" formation. Please report to that side of the field to make things go as smoothly as possible.

We know that there could be some conflicts with night practice and OHS athletic contests. Let's work through it together!

Individual photos will be taken from 5:30-5:55PM and after the Block O full band picture. Those getting individual photos taken should try to arrive early and get that picture done early if possible.
We will also be taking pictures of each section after the photo of the Block O is complete.
SENIORS will have their photos taken for the newspaper from 5:30-5:55PM and after the Block O picture.
What do I wear? Your full TMB uniform (black men's oxford shoes, black crew/mid calf socks, spats, marching uniform pants and jacket, white gloves, hat and plume(plumes will be given out upon your arrival at Willman and collected immediately after the pictures).
Under your uniform, wear cool and comfortable clothes that cannot be seen while your uniform is on. We will take off our uniforms after the pictures, place them back in their garment bags then rehearse for the remaining time we have at Willman.
